This category of dogs often suffers a range of problems brought on by advanced age and obesity (particularly strain on the heart and joints). This formula has been created with this in mind. Taurine, antioxidants and high vitamin E content help to slow the ageing process. The formula helps to maintain ideal body weight with a reduced yet adequate level of high-quality proteins, fats and particularly conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and L-carnitine (effectively breaking down fatty tissue). L-carnitine also supports the heart and the FMP system optimises digestion.
