Unheated cattle drinking trough for large herds
La Buvette MULTI TWIN S 400 is a 400-litre unheated group drinking trough for cattle. The set comprises one MULTI TWIN main trough and one additional trough. Its robust double-walled body is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). According to the manufacturer, 12–14 cows can drink from the set simultaneously.
High flow rate and modular design
Two float valves beneath a protective cover maintain a constant water level and provide a combined flow rate of 64 l/min at 3 bar. A ¾″ stainless steel braided water connection hose is included.
A watertight, flexible bellows joint connects the troughs; ring clamps are included. The modular system can be extended by connecting additional troughs. An optional third float valve, A384, increases the flow rate to 96 l/min from 3 bar. This valve can also supply lukewarm water from a milk pre-cooler. The A384 valve is sold separately.
Cleaning and installation
The 10 cm drain opening allows quick emptying. The valves can be accessed without tools. Install the trough on a concrete base at least 20 cm high.
MULTI TWIN S 400 (2471) is the unheated model. The version with electric frost protection is a separate model, reference 2481.
